About Claude Resets

Claude Resets is an independent tracker run by a small team of heavy Claude and Claude Code users. We built it because we kept missing early resets that Anthropic announced on X, and kept rationing Opus hours we did not need to ration. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or paid by Anthropic.

Where the data comes from

• Official posts from @ClaudeDevs, @claudeai and Anthropic staff on X.
• Anthropic's Help Center and engineering posts.
• The public status page at status.claude.com, read automatically every 30 minutes.
• Reporting by tech outlets, used as a second source.

How we verify a reset

A reset is marked confirmed when there is an official post, or when two independent outlets report it. Anything we have only seen through a third-party tracker is published with an “unverified” tag until we can cross-check it. Right now 9 of the 14 entries in our reset history are confirmed. Limit changes that are not resets, like new weekly caps, are kept out of the log.

How the reset odds work

The percentage on the home page adds four signals: incidents on the status page in the last 7 days, days since the last reset, whether a model launched in the last 14 days, and any hint from Anthropic staff in the last 3 days. A reset in the last 3 days cuts the score sharply. It is a rough forecast built from past patterns, not inside information.
